We Are Groot Chalk Art. Created for the 2017 Prairie Chicken Arts Festival in Kewanee Illinois, Joy Hernandez and Thomas Washburn, along with Washburn's wife Angela Washburn and their friend Katie Shook, drew Baby Groot from the film "The Guardians of the Galaxy," in about a day's time. These chalk art pieces helped cement the idea that art team-ups were a great idea. July, 2017.
